J train fun.

Soo. Sitting on the J train in the 2 seater by the cart door and thinking why don't I practice sketching. So I whipped out the pencil and planner. I started practicing fashion figures roughly. Then i went into some faces. Im so inspired by male fashion models that look feminine. That how most of my sketches turn to be. Mens wear is my biggest inspiration but sadly I havn't started mens wear just yet. Im trying to focus on womens wear first and then expand. SOO here's on of the faces that I did on the train..

I need Practice!

Just drew her a few minutes ago. screwed up hard with the marker on the pants. but it looked faded so i had to keep coloring in. I didn't name her yet. I'm thinking something like Joy. Yea I like Joy! I have a tiny fetish for turtlenecks and scarves I need to branch out a bit more but... My scanner is also so super small that the whole pic couldn't fit so some of her hair and my signature is cut off. I had to rotate the page so it could at least fit most of her there. I need to practice a bit more. haven't drawn a fashion figure in a few months now. Need major brushing up before school. My rendering is looking sucky and my arms in the pocket..NAGL. So there will be a few more sketches on my blog. well see how i improve in two weeks.

Okay. Yeat or Neat? I think its a cute dress in itself (adorable) but a bit boring. The styling had potential but kinda amateur for Rih Rih. Maybe its just me. I'm ready to see a new Rihanna or a new style I should say. since shes known for changing the style up a bit it needs to be consistant. Come on RIh give us something NEW!

To Have and to Hold

Okay so I have to introduce you to my wife Kelis. She is my all time favorite female artist. She just keeps it real 100 percent. Not only her style is wicked but her music is even better. I fell in love with Kelis on her 3 album Tasty. Had it on repeat for ever and then dloaded all of her music..leading us to marriage. She was signed to Startrak which was her greatest years (in my opinion).You need to go back to pharell baby gurl. She was WAY before her time. Startrak have been doing this whole space theme that everyone seems to be doing now with their music (chek out her video "Lil Star") She is definitely a trend setter/inspiration for many female artist such as rihanna, and all of these chicks that decided to shave their hair (blast). Going through a serious divorce she recently had her son knight with her ex-husband Nas and may be recieving 55,000 dollars a month in child support (thats kinda crazy). SO she might be on a hiatus right now. but hopefully she'll be back to rule the world sooner or later. (lookout) Thats one bad biyatch.
